Expected Value (EV) is a measure of how much value a bet offers. A positive EV bet (+EV) means the odds are in your favour — the bookmaker has underestimated the probability of the outcome. Over time, backing +EV bets consistently leads to profit.
Our statistical model analyses odds from 10+ UK bookmakers to find the best available price for each outcome. It then calculates the implied probability and compares it to our model probability. We only flag tips where our model gives a 65%+ probability and the expected value is 8% or higher.
Draw No Bet (DNB) removes the draw from the equation. If the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded. If your team wins, you win the bet. It's a safer version of backing a team to win outright, with slightly lower odds.
The Kelly Criterion is a mathematical formula that calculates the optimal stake size based on your edge. It tells you what percentage of your bankroll to bet to maximise long-term growth. We recommend using Half Kelly to reduce variance and protect your bankroll.
An accumulator (acca) combines multiple selections into one bet. All selections must win for the bet to pay out. The odds are multiplied together, so a 3-fold acca at average odds of 1.65 returns around 4.49x your stake. Our accas are built from our highest confidence tips from the same bookmaker.
Our model requires a minimum 65% probability and 8% EV on every tip. However no model is 100% accurate — even the best professional tipsters win around 55-65% of bets long term. We track every result publicly so you can see our real performance.
